Runners stride out for Llandegfan 5k event

THE annual Llandegfan 5k saw 36 Cybi Striders (pictured left) take part, organised by the local community this is a fun event for all the family, this year raising over £10,000.

Andy Savage was first overall (First M45) in a fantastic 17:41 and Rhi Willmot was first woman in 21:38 (First FSenior).

The striders are a friendly running club based on Anglesey.

Established over 30 years ago, the club pride themselves on being a friendly club where everyone is welcome – regardless of ability or experience.

They meet every Monday and Wednesday from various locations on the island and are always keen on seeing new members as they race regularly in road, fell, trail and cross county in all weathers.
