AMLWCH CANOE CLUB: Meets in Amlwch pool 8.15pm-9.30pm. If you would like to try kayaking the club allows three Taster Sessions at £5 per person per session. Minimum age 8 and conditions apply to under-16s, parent/carers must stay in attendance for the sessions. Suggest participants wear a T-shirt, the sessions will involve capsizing in a kayak. ANGLESEY CENTRAL LIONS: Is a local service organisation, and registered charity that raises money, holds events, and assists in events. During 2015 it donated £3,400 to local worthy causes. AMLWCH SWIMMING CLUB: is to become the new Para-Swimming Hub for Anglesey and seeks friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to support the club. The role of a volunteer will be to support children and young adults with varying disabilities to fully participate in the sessions. No official qualifications needed, just enthusiasm and reliability. Don’t worry if you don’t think you have the right experience or have not helped those with disabilities before. The club will provide training and another volunteer will with you during your early sessions to give you support. Once you have joined as a volunteer, the club will organise a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for you. Tuesday, June 18 at 2.15pm. Short talk and tour of the church followed by light refreshments, cost £2. Parking available around the church which is located on the A5025 road from Amlwch to Bull Bay. The church was built from reinforced concrete in the 1930s and is regarded as the best work by Italian architect Giuseppe Rinvolucri.
