Cefni and Bod­ed­ern lose as Bulls win again

LLANGEFNI Town suf­fered a 4-0 thrash­ing by Conwy Bor­ough at Y Morfa in the Cymru North.

To­mos Clarke put Boro ahead be­fore Cor­rig McGonigle scored twice ei­ther side of a Liam Mor­ris strike.

In the Welsh Al­liance Di­vi­sion One, Bod­ed­ern Ath­letic were beaten 2-0 at St As­aph City with Josh Brown and an own goal se­cur­ing the points for the home side.

In the Gwynedd League, Trearddur Bay Bulls moved eight points clear at the top with a 3-2 win at Og­wen Tigers on Satur­day. The Tigers fully played their part in an en­thralling game with goals from To­mos Eames and Gethin Parry and they also played the last 35 min­utes with 10 men.

In the end, it was two goals from Dave Webb and an­other by top scorer Gwyn­for Owen – now on 10 for the sea­son – which clinched the Bulls a hard-fought sev­enth straight win.

Bethesda Ath­letic won 2-0 at Bont­newydd with both goals com­ing from Andy Clarke and Glantraeth were beaten 5-3 at home by Talysarn Celts with their goals com­ing from Cian Evans (2) and Aaron Rickards.

Llan­ner­chymedd were thrashed 7-2 by Llanys­tumdwy with Mark Jones and Shaun Pritchard scor­ing for the An­gle­sey side.
