Cefni and Bodedern lose as Bulls win again
LLANGEFNI Town suffered a 4-0 thrashing by Conwy Borough at Y Morfa in the Cymru North.
Tomos Clarke put Boro ahead before Corrig McGonigle scored twice either side of a Liam Morris strike.
In the Welsh Alliance Division One, Bodedern Athletic were beaten 2-0 at St Asaph City with Josh Brown and an own goal securing the points for the home side.
In the Gwynedd League, Trearddur Bay Bulls moved eight points clear at the top with a 3-2 win at Ogwen Tigers on Saturday. The Tigers fully played their part in an enthralling game with goals from Tomos Eames and Gethin Parry and they also played the last 35 minutes with 10 men.
In the end, it was two goals from Dave Webb and another by top scorer Gwynfor Owen – now on 10 for the season – which clinched the Bulls a hard-fought seventh straight win.
Bethesda Athletic won 2-0 at Bontnewydd with both goals coming from Andy Clarke and Glantraeth were beaten 5-3 at home by Talysarn Celts with their goals coming from Cian Evans (2) and Aaron Rickards.
Llannerchymedd were thrashed 7-2 by Llanystumdwy with Mark Jones and Shaun Pritchard scoring for the Anglesey side.
