ST AN­DREW’S CHURCH SER­VICES: Sun­days at 11am, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sun­day Holy Com­mu­nion. On the 4th Sun­day a shorter all age ser­vice fol­lowed by tea and cof­fee. Fri­days at 10am Holy Com­mu­nion. Also each Tues at 10am the church hall is open for tea and cof­fee.

BEN­L­LECH 50+: Meet every Thurs­day in the Ben­l­lech Com­mu­nity Hall, from 2pm-4pm. Happy friendly club and wel­come new mem­bers any time of the year, gen­tle­men as well as ladies. Talks, out­ings, lun­cheon club, games af­ter­noons, bingo. Tea and Chat etc. Oc­to­ber 10, 10th An­niver­sary Party, mem­bers only. Oc­to­ber 17, Age Cymru, Talk about their ser­vices, in­clud­ing ques­tions and an­swers.

BEN­L­LECH & DIS­TRICT GOOD TURN SCHEME: The monthly meet­ing took place on Oc­to­ber 1. Plans were con­firmed for the cof­fee morn­ing to be held at the hall on Oct 31; 10am-noon. The first aid train­ing was well re­ceived and a fur­ther ses­sion will take place shortly cov­er­ing use of de­fib­ril­la­tors. Mem­bers were ad­vised that the re­cent Macmil­lan cof­fee morn­ing many of them at­tended pro­duced £460.


Do you want to make a Hal­loween flower and fo­liage ar­range­ment for your home? Then come along to Isle of An­gle­sey Flower Club in the Com­mu­nity & Ex Ser­vice­men’s Hall, Ben­l­lech on Tues­day, Oct15 at 7pm. Jane Dew of But­ter­flies & Blooms, Aml­wch will show how to cre­ate these ar­range­ments. You will need your own hol­lowed out pump­kin, if us­ing, or a bas­ket/vase/ con­tainer of choice, in which to cre­ate your ‘Hal­loween’ themed ar­range­ment. The sales table has saucers, flo­ral foam, wires and tape. Bring your own fo­liage and flow­ers, but Jane will also have some to pur­chase. Don’t for­get your witches and spi­ders’ webs etc. to add that ghoul­ish touch!.
