Hospital housekeeper‘s a Star
AN ‘outstanding’ Housekeeper from Ysbyty Gwynedd has been recognised with a special award.
Amanda Owen, who works on Glyder Ward, was nominated for a Seren Betsi Star award for going above and beyond in her role.
Amanda is an important part of the team and has helped raise thousands of pounds towards purchasing new touch screen blood pressure monitors.
Glyder Ward Sister, Ceri Owen, who nominated Amanda for the award, said: “Amanda is reliable and extremely hardworking.
“She has worked extremely hard to improve the ward environment and has worked closely with the Safe Clean Care team to achieve the high standards she sets.
“You never have to ask her anything twice – she stands out with her commitment and drive.”
