Hos­pi­tal house­keeper‘s a Star

AN ‘out­stand­ing’ House­keeper from Ys­byty Gwynedd has been recog­nised with a spe­cial award.

Amanda Owen, who works on Gly­der Ward, was nom­i­nated for a Seren Betsi Star award for go­ing above and be­yond in her role.

Amanda is an im­por­tant part of the team and has helped raise thou­sands of pounds to­wards pur­chas­ing new touch screen blood pres­sure mon­i­tors.

Gly­der Ward Sis­ter, Ceri Owen, who nom­i­nated Amanda for the award, said: “Amanda is re­li­able and ex­tremely hard­work­ing.

“She has worked ex­tremely hard to im­prove the ward en­vi­ron­ment and has worked closely with the Safe Clean Care team to achieve the high stan­dards she sets.

“You never have to ask her any­thing twice – she stands out with her com­mit­ment and drive.”
