Com­mu­nity sup­port for tree pro­ject

AS part of the Her­itage Tree Pro­ject to pre­serve, pro­tect and plant ur­ban trees the mem­bers of Treard­dur Bay WI planted a rowan in the grounds of the Vil­lage Hall.

Spe­cial thanks are given to Hol­land Arms Gar­den Cen­tre for do­nat­ing the tree, to Kath and Chris of The

Cop­pers, Go­rad, Val­ley for mak­ing and gift­ing the py­rog­ra­phy plaque and Si­mon Hannaby from GMS, for digging the hole and staking the tree for us.

A spokesman said: “We feel proud to have such sup­port from the com­mu­nity.”

● Mem­bers of Treard­dur Bay WI, the Chair­man of An­gle­sey Fed­er­a­tion of WIs Yvonne Tatam along with Eric Roberts and Paul Nor­ris, from the Vil­lage Hall com­mit­tee.
