The speaker is Kevin Anderson, Professor of Energy and Climate Change at the University of Manchester. NORTH WALES GUITAR CIRCLE: are celebrating their 14th year this November and as a celebration they are holding a concert and fundraising event. Music played will cover ALL genres – Classical, Slide, Jazz, Flamenco and other fingerstyles, on November 30 at 7.45pm. This year’s chosen charity is Alzheimer’s Society – all donations and raffle money from the evening will be presented to the local North Wales branch in Conwy. An Evening of Guitar - Baroque to Rock will be held at Split Willow in Llanfairfechan, who are foregoing their room hire for the evening. This will be a relaxed and informal evening with chances to win raffle prizes and a few nibbles for those who are a little peckish. This is the first time NWGC/CGGC have held their concert in Llanfairfechan – it is hoped that if successful it will be held again next November.
