GAERWEN ex­ited the FAW Tro­phy af­ter they were beaten by Welsh National League side Rhos Ael­wyd 4-2 with Ger­allt Jones and Llion Hughes scor­ing for the An­gle­sey side.

Holy­head Hot­spur came out on top 2-0 at Bod­ed­ern Ath­letic thanks to goals from Chris Jones and Robert Jones.

In the Welsh Al­liance Divi­sion One, Llandyrnog United got just their sec­ond win of the cam­paign with a 4-2 re­sult against an in-form Mynydd Llan­de­gai.

Mike Guest edged United in front be­fore Ben Parker and Gavin Owen hit back to give the vis­i­tors a half-time lead.

United turned the ta­bles in the sec­ond half, Josh Jones (2) and Craig Jones seal­ing them the points.

Marc Evans scored all five goals as Gwalchmai went top of Welsh Al­liance Divi­sion Two with a 5-2 vic­tory at Kin­mel Bay.

Holy­head Town edged a hard-fought 3-2 ver­dict over pre­vi­ous ta­ble-top­pers Pen­maen­mawr Phoenix with Bryn Roberts, Asa Thomas and Leeroy Parry scor­ing for the Har­bour­men, Dan Wil­liams with both goals for Phoenix.

Llan­dudno Ama­teurs and Aberffraw drew 2-2, Richard Roberts scor­ing twice for the An­gle­sey side with Steve Collins and Luke O’Ma­honey for the hosts.

In the Gwynedd League, Llan­goed were 9-1 away win­ners at Bethesda Ath­letic, Wayne Thomas (4), Guy Hughes (3), Pa­trick Mee and Joseph Doohan all scored with Shaun Mor­ris for Pesda.

Llan­ner­chymedd were swept aside 6-1 by Llanys­tumdwy with To­mos Jones scor­ing for the vis­i­tors from An­gle­sey.

Caer­gybi scored an im­pres­sive 5-1 suc­cess at Bont­newydd, James Ryan (2), Ian Wil­liams, Nathan Lewis and Glenn North, Cai Penny Wil­liams re­ply­ing.

Moun­tain Rangers main­tained their un­beaten record in the An­gle­sey League with a thrilling 3-2 home win over Pen­traeth Re­serves.

Holy­head Hot­spur Re­serves were re­sound­ing 9-0 away win­ners at Llandegfan and Llan­fair­p­wll sealed a 2-1 win over CPD Y Fali and Ar­riva Bangor de­feated Holy­head Town Re­serves 4-1.
