PALS SUPPER CLUB: (People Alone Like Socializing) Gwynedd, Anglesey & Conwy. If you’re alone (for whatever reason) over 55 and interested in meeting others in the same situation, for supper once a month. Please join the online group meetup.com/ PALS-supperclub and join for supper, interesting conversation and good company on The second Friday of every month. PALS plan to hold regular monthly supper nights in different towns. This is a bilingual group for single adults aged over 55, living in roughly a 50 mile radius of Bangor, North Wales, to expand their friendships with those who find themselves in similar solo circumstances, to get out and socialize.

BANGOR BIRD GROUP: has two special meetings to be held at Pontio on December 4 & 5 given by Dan Brown. On Wed, Dec 4 in Pontio’s lecture room 2, Dan Brown will give a talk titled “In search of the Mountain Ghost - Wildlife of the Tibetan Plateau”. On the trail of Snow Leopard and other wildlife of one of the world’s most remote and arduous regions. On Thurs, Dec 5 in Pontio’s lecture room 5 Dan will talk on” Megaherbs, Great Albatrosses and Giant Petrels - Exploring our Antipodal Seas and Islands” Discovering the endemic flora and fauna of New Zealand’s sub-Antarctic islands and the rich seas which unite them. These meetings start at 7.30pm and will be in lecture rooms 2 & 5 at Pontio. All are welcome. Cost - £4 to non-members. Membership subscription: £18, concessions £15. Bangor University students free. GENERAL ELECTION HUSTINGS: Oganised by Cytun Bangor Churches Together, 7pm on Sunday, December 8 in Eglwys Emaus, Lon y Cariadon, hear Bangor bus station. This is an opportunity to hear candidates for the Arfon constituency in the General Election on December 12. The Right Rev Andy John, Bishop of Bangor will chair. CAROL SINGALONG: On Saturday December 7 at 10 30am until noon in St Peters Church Penrhosgarnedd, there will be a Community Carol-Sing -a -Long with members of Cantabile Ladies Choir. £3 payable at the door to include coffee/ tea and mince pies . All proceeds going to St Peter’s Church.
NORTH WALES GUITAR CIRCLE: The Concert on Saturday, November 30 had over 100 in the audience and raised £500 for Alzheimer’s Society in Colwyn Bay. Thank you for all your help.
