MORE than £1,500 has been raised through fundraising efforts to purchase equipment for a surgical ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd.
The team from Tegid Ward recently held a fundraising bingo night at the Crosville Social Club in Bangor which received huge support from local businesses.
Fifty prizes were donated towards raising funds to purchase the wards own Electrocardiogram test (ECG) machine.
Tegid Ward Manager Victoria Seddon said: “We are extremely grateful to everyone who came out to support our bingo night in Bangor.
“Local businesses have been extremely generous and donated amazing prizes to help us raise money.
“The Crosville social club offered for us to hold the event there and we are so grateful for all the members for their help and support.
“These type of events have brought our team on Tegid closer together and helped to boost morale.
“We are really pleased with the amount that was raised and would like to thank everyone who has supported us.”
