PROBUS: Moelfre & District Probus Club. The primary aim of the club is to promote good fellowship. Membership is open to all who are retired, semi-retired or approachin­g retirement who have had some measure of responsibi­lity in any field of worthy endeavour, who are of good character and respected in their communitie­s. Probus meet on the third Tuesday each month (except August) at noon at the Breeze Hill Hotel, Benllech. The normal meeting consists of lunch followed by a talk given by a recommende­d speaker. The June meeting is normally an outing to a place of interest with a lunch in that locality. The December meeting is replaced by a Christmas Lunch. HOLYHEAD CANCER SUPPORT GROUP: Is a registered charity set up to offer support to those who are suffering or recovering from Cancer. Meetings take place at the Penucheldr­e Centre in Millbank in Holyhead on Weds, 11am-3.30pm. Variety of activities and therapies are offered in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. Transport can be arranged to bring people to and from the venue by prior arrangemen­t. The group has outings to places of interest during the spring and summer.
