See Andre Rieu concert at Ucheldre
THE Ucheldre Centre is an ideal venue for small-scale touring opera, and has hosted several productions by Welsh National Opera and Swansea City Opera, as well as by touring groups of singers.
A cinema performance from André Rieu, 70 years young, André’s ultimate concert will feature musical highlights, chosen by the Maestro himself, from his illustrious career so far.
This unique commemorative celebration will take you on an unbelievable journey around the world to André’s most amazing concert locations, including Schönbrunn in Vienna, Radio City Music Hall in New York, and the Coronation Concert in Amsterdam.
As part of the celebration, André reminisces with cinema host Charlotte Hawkins about his life, love and music, while taking his cinema audience on an exclusive tour of his home in Maastricht.

The following week Met Opera Live present Berg’s Wozzeck.
South African artist William Kentridge focuses his extraordinary visual imagination on Berg’s operatic masterpiece, set in an apocalyptic pre–World War I environment.
Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin is on the podium, with baritone Peter Mattei as the title character. Soprano Elza van den Heever is Wozzeck’s unfaithful mate. The commanding cast also includes tenor Christopher Ventris as the Drum-Major, bass-baritone Christian Van Horn as the Doctor, and tenor Gerhard Siegel as the Captain.
