THE St David’s Hospice Snowdonia Trail Series is a new bespoke running and walking event encouraging all to discover North Wales through a unique outdoor experience.

It is envisaged to raise significant funds for the local charity which provides hospice care to adult patients and their families living with an advanced illness in Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey.

Suitable for runners and walkers, the trail series has three separate events in some of the most stunning locations in North Wales.

To kick start, the first is in the beautiful Abergwyngregyn (7km), then in May moving into the picturesque Betws Y Coed (7km), with the finale being an evening event around the magnificent Llyn Padarn (10km) in July.

Registration is now open for the Aber fall 7k on Saturday, March 14.

The route goes past the Aber Falls and then follows the North Wales Coastal path.

St David’s Hospice Events Coordinator Rhian Jacobs said: “We are so excited to have announced the

Snowdonia Trail Series.

“We are really looking forward to have walkers and runners of all abilities, come together for this challenge.

“Let’s embrace the beautiful scenery of Snowdonia that we have on our doorstep, feel great and raise the funds for the Hospice!

“We would like to thank the Abergwyngregyn Regeneration Company for their support and sponsorship towards the Aber Fall 7k.

“It promises to be a fantastic day in the fresh air.”

All participants must be over the age of 16 and there is an option to take part in individual events or the complete trail series.

Registration for walkers is £16 per event, which includes a medal and £22 runners, which includes chip timing and a medal.
