Webinar set to focus on tree disease

THE FUW’s Anglesey branch is hosting a webinar on Ash Dieback for all members of the union.

It’s being held via Zoom tomorrow, Thursday, November 19, 7pm. Jacob Milner, Anglesey Council’s Ash Dieback coordinator, will be explaining symptoms of the tree disease and what action to take. He will also outline landowner responsibilities if they receive a notice from the local authority.

FUW Anglesey CEO Alaw Jones said: “The disease is being discovered on many trees on the island and there seems to be a big lack of knowledge in how to deal with it.”
