Firms wins STEM award
NORTH Wales based Cadarn Consulting Engineers has been announced as a winner at the inaugural Wales STEM Awards.
The awards were launched last year in a bid to recognise the innovative STEM work being undertaken in Wales, address the diversity gap and skills shortage, and inspire and raise the aspirations of the next generation.
The virtual ceremony saw finalists from across all parts of Wales compete for 15 awards in a variety of different categories.
Cadarn Consulting Engineers in Holyhead were named as winner of the Innovation in Engineering Award for their setting up of a Research and Development Programme to maximise performance, efficiency and reliability, further reducing the environmental impact on their clients.
Head judge Dr Louise Bright said: “We would like to offer a huge congratulations all of the winners.”
