ZIP WORLD THRILL FOR REALITY TELEVISION STAR

-

JORDAN Hames was “shouting and screaming” with fear at Zip World during a visit to the attraction this summer.

The reality TV star visited the site in Penrhyn Quarry, near Bethesda, with Chris Taylor, Danny Williams and Michael Griffiths – having become friends on Love Island in 2019.

The foursome live in a ‘dream house’ together in Essex, with their adventures as housemates documented in the digital reality series MTV’s Living the Dream. The latest episodes of its second series, released on YouTube, have seen the former islanders on a road trip in North Wales, travelling around together in a campervan.

The most recent instalment, uploaded last week, showed them working on Manorafon Farm in Abergele to “earn” breakfast, with Michael narrating that “the first job is to pick up donkey poo”.

After breakfast, the group (pictured) headed to Zip World, which is home to the fastest zip line in the world – offering speeds of up to 100mph.

Jordan however had reservations about the attraction, reminding his friends that he doesn’t like heights. He admitted that he was “scared” after arriving, adding: “It’s just not a natural thing to be falling through the sky.”

Narrating footage taken at the top of the zip line, Michael commented: “So we’re waiting to be released and all I can hear is Jordan shouting and screaming.”

In footage taken from a camera on his helmet, Jordan can be heard shouting “check me again” multiple times whilst waiting to be released. He later said: “I was just paranoid, telling the woman to triple check everything.”

Danny described the experience as “incredible.” Michael said: “The second you get released from that wire, it’s like ultimate freedom.” Jordan was glad to have completed the task, though he was the slowest down the line. This meant that he had to face a forfeit upon their return to Essex.
