Fans of the Extremely Chocolatey Biscuits will love this. An impressive circular slab of delicious, chunky chocolate is packed with crunchy biscuity bits. A good mix of textures and flavours.
DONUT (200g) £5, Morrisons
A giant, toffee-flavoured chocolate donut smothered in crispy pearls, this looked inviting but was messy to eat. We found the toffee flavour worked well but the chocolate was oversweet. Realistic design, though.
TRIPLE CHOCOLATE SWIRL CONE (200g)
£6, Co-op So cute we didn’t want to smash it. Good quality, tasty and creamy chocolate with some nice, chunky bits. Good attention to detail and a decent amount for the price.
DAIRYFINE CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM EGG (215g)
£6.99, Aldi
Clever design, these are thoughtfully put together to create a feast for the eyes and are a joy to eat. Topped with mini-eggs and a chunk of chocolate, it’s got Easter licked.
BELGIAN MILK CHOCOLATE TIRAMISU EGG (260g)
£8, Sainsbury’s An elegant egg piped with white chocolate lines, sprinkled with cocoa nibs and with coffee powder in the shell.
The rounded flavour reminded us of old-fashioned coffee creams. Stylish.
DELUXE FRUIT & NUT LATTICE EGG (375g)
£9.99, Lidl
Tasty chocolate with a pretty lattice front packed with crunchy pistachio nuts and juicy raisins.
A good combination of flavours but lots of nuts and raisins fell off as we broke it.

COOKIE DOUGH & ICE CREAM EGG SANDWICH (135g)
£10, Hotel Chocolat Looked good and tasted even better. Thick, tasty, creamy chocolate with lots of flavours and crispy bits to add bite. We scoffed the lot a bit too quickly.

Crispy, creamy and chewy, with a lovely raspberry kick. A hard one to crack but worth the effort for an explosion of flavours and textures that tantalised our taste buds.
