Community to benefit from pro play

A PROFESSIONAL performance of The Wind in the Willows will take place tonight in Staincross as a local vicar looks to lean towards community needs.

The show will be held at St John’s Parish Hall at 7pm and residents are being invited to attend the outdoor show.

Fr Tim Stevens, the vicar of Darton and Staincross, hopes it will bring the community together.

He said: “We’re trying to meet the needs of the community and raise awareness of what we have going on. It’s a very professional show and it’s something that should be shouted about.”
