Rowland crashes twice in London

OLIVER Rowland’s disappointing Formula E season continued as he crashed out of both races at his home meeting in London.

The 28-year-old from Penistone was second fastest in practice but qualified in 17th then crashed out of the first race early. He lasted just minutes in the second race as contact with another driver caused his car to leave the ground briefly while sustaining damage which ended his weekend.

Rowland is 17th in the standings with 11 points from 14 races.

The season will conclude in Seoul, South Korea next week.
