Kes star dies
A BELOVED comedian who shot to stardom following his appearance in Kes has died aged 82.
Duggie Brown, born in Rotherham, starred in the Barnsley film alongside his older sister, Lynne Perrie.
He appeared in Coronation Street as well as a number of other soaps such as EastEnders and Holby City.
He died on Tuesday with his wife Jackie by his side.
