More town centre car parking spaces

PLANS to construct a new car park in the town centre have been submitted to the council.

The new car park would be based adjacent to the YMCA on Blucher Street, and would be able to house 16 cars – up from the current six.

Fourteen neighbours have been made aware of the application with no appeals to date.

The public are able to comment on the plans until September 7.
