Azharullah’s 7 as Swaine skittle Scholes
PREMIERSHIP leaders Hoylandswaine skittled third-placed Scholes for 50 in a five-wicket away win.
Muhammed Azharullah took seven wickets and Junaid Khan three, taking their tallies for the season to 78 and 73 respectively.
Swaine are 18 points clear of secondplaced Honley with five games left.
Three more wins would secure a fifth successive league title.
Hoylandswaine 2nd XI fell 90 runs short chasing 312 against Thongsbridge in the Conference.
Tawkal Kadran took four wickets then Jack Lockwood (55) and Josh Holmes (64) top-scored.
The defeat knocked Swaine seconds off the top of the table.
They are two points behind the leaders with four games to play.
