Azharullah’s 7 as Swaine skittle Scholes

PREMIERSHI­P leaders Hoylandswa­ine skittled third-placed Scholes for 50 in a five-wicket away win.

Muhammed Azharullah took seven wickets and Junaid Khan three, taking their tallies for the season to 78 and 73 respective­ly.

Swaine are 18 points clear of secondplac­ed Honley with five games left.

Three more wins would secure a fifth successive league title.

Hoylandswa­ine 2nd XI fell 90 runs short chasing 312 against Thongsbrid­ge in the Conference.

Tawkal Kadran took four wickets then Jack Lockwood (55) and Josh Holmes (64) top-scored.

The defeat knocked Swaine seconds off the top of the table.

They are two points behind the leaders with four games to play.
