Hayes hits 130 off 63 balls

HARRISON Hayes whacked 130 off 63 balls as Monk Bretton chased 272 for a four-wicket win at Denby in Division Three West.

Hayes hit 15 fours and nine sixes as the Monks won with 15 balls remaining.

Andy Baker made 102 but Rockingham fell 67 runs short chasing 255 at Oughtibridge.

Hoylandswaine chased 145 for an eight-wicket win over Bradfield.

Luke Heath took six wickets and

James Ibbotson three.

Heath then carried his bat with 76 not out off 59 balls with 13 fours.

Cawthorne were bowled out for 161 chasing 239 at Oughtibridge.

Thom Macrow took four wickets. Higham dismissed Thurgoland for 68 defending 195. Thurgoland’s Lucian Coles took four wickets and Curtis Coles three. Dairen Hirst-Spalding took three wickets for Higham.

Two Darfield players made centuries but they lost at Tickhill in Division One.

Arsalan Khalid made 103 with nine fours and a six, while Saman Khursheed crashed 150 not out off 99 balls with 17 fours and seven sixes.

It was a partnership of 227.

Darfield posted 289 for two but

Tickhill won with 19 balls and seven wickets left.

Worsbrough Bridge bowled Crofton Phoenix out for 59 in an eight-wicket win. Lewis Wilkinson and Callum Bentley took four wickets each.

West Bretton lost by a wicket at home to Frickley in Division Two.

Bretton made 169 then Matthew Race took four wickets. Bretton then beat Fenwick by 109 runs. C Brampton took four wickets after L Smith made 66 in Bretton’s 249.
