Work welcome

It was welcome news to see work being carried out on part of the Trans Pennine Trail near Silkstone.

That stretch of the trail had been among the worst within the whole Barnsley area and being uphill and gravel made it a real slog.

The part near Netherwood School in Wombwell needs to be next.
