MP: PM must face crisis ‘head-on’

BARNSLEY Central MP Dan Jarvis has congratulated Liz Truss on becoming Prime Minister.

Truss was voted in by Conservative party members on Monday following Boris Johnson’s exit.

Labour MP Dan said: “It’s vital that she and her ministers consign the catastrophe of recent times to history and meet the momentous challenges of the moment.

“The focus of her government must shift away from self-inflicted crisis management, to tackling head-on the cost-of-living crisis and building a better Britain for everyone.”
