Plans paying off

NEW figures revealed in Barnsley Council’s performance indicator reveal plans to tackle poverty in the area are working.

The health and well-being performance indicator for the antipoverty plan shows 75 per cent of local residents experienced improved health and well-being, and 94 per cent feel more able to manage their own affairs.
