Tonight and tomorrow ‘Mother Goose’ which is a Laffin Boi production, will be presented at 7.30pm. On September 24 and September 25 at 5pm, the Arabesque Dance School will be presenting ‘Revival’ where tickets can now be purchased online.

Dearne Community Arts Festival

This event will be held on September 24 from 11am-4pm at the Astrea Academy Dance in Goldthorpe. This year’s festival will feature performances from dance and theatre schools as well as Barnsley Youth Choir East Children’s Choir and the ‘Snap Tin Strummers’ which is a ukulele group. There will be exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops and performances on stage. Greentop Circus will perform and teach circus skills including juggling and plate spinning. Handmade Christmas presents will be available to buy from the craft stalls. They will also be hosting poppy-making from plastic bottles for Remembrance Sunday. Everyone is welcome to come along to this.
