Emery fastest in hill climb

TUESDAY saw the first of Birdwell Wheelers’ two club hill climbs at America Lane near Brampton.

The 1.3k course was tackled by five club members.

Fastest on the night was Dan Emery with Trevor Mayne not far behind.

Times: Dan Emery, 3-37.4; Trevor Mayne, 3-55.2; Sam Burrows, 4-00.7; Paul Burrows, 4-24.7; Paul Heggie, 5-12.1.

The second club Hill Climb is on Tuesday at 6.30pm at Green Moor.

Sunday’s club ride meets at 9am at Brewers Fayre Wombwell. Visitors are welcome.
