Approval given for caravan site

A CARAVAN site will be created in Mapplewell after plans were approved by the council earlier this month.

An application was submitted to the council’s planning board earlier this year for a caravan site, on Mapplewell Meadows, for a maximum of 25 touring caravans and motorhomes.

It will be a seasonal site, opening from March to October, and there will not be any static vehicles on the site.

The plans were given the go-ahead by the council last week.
