Skate park blaze

A FIRE broke out near the skate park on Farm Road, Kendray on Wednesday night.

Firefighters from Barnsley station were called to the scene.

Upon arrival, the fire crew found plastic traffic cones and barriers on fire.

The fire – thought to have been started deliberately – was put out, and the crew left the scene at 8.56pm.
