Camera catches kids on hall roof

PARENTS have been urged to warn their children after CCTV caught youngsters climbing onto a parish hall’s roof.

Brampton Parish Council are calling for members of the public to come forward with any information they may have in relation to the incident at Brampton Brierlow Parish Hall. A drain pipe was damaged by the youngsters, who were recorded using it to get onto its roof.

A spokesperson from the council said: “Not only is it dangerous, but it will cost the council money in repairs for the drain pipe. We have CCTV which will hopefully give us a clearer picture – we will be reporting this incident to the police and the CCTV footage. If anyone has anymore information, please let us know.”
