Village Hall

The Knit and Natter group meet every Tuesday at 2pm in the Village Hall and on Thursdays coffee morning is held from 10.30am. Everyone is welcome.

Ladies

Billingley Ladies group who meet monthly in the Village Hall, will be holding their next meeting on Monday at 7.30pm and the guest speaker is Corey Parfitt. New members are welcome.

A Harvest Praise service at the Stairfoot Ebenezer Church was led by Tony Hudson on Sunday morning. The gifts were donated to the food bank. The next service will be held on Sunday October 2 at 11am, when the preacher will be Michael Greenwood.

Jack Carroll, BGT runner-up and star of BBC’s Live at the Apollo, will be at Barnsley Civic on Saturday, November 5. The comedian has been referred to as ‘a comedy genius’ by fellow comedian David Walliams, and grew his fame from making jokes about his own disability.
