Elsecar close out the season with win over rivals Darfield

ELSECAR were bowled out for 164 by Darfield in Division One but it proved more than enough in a 70 run triumph.

Will Scott took four for ten in Elsecar’s innings with Kieran Higgins top-scoring with 38. Scott then scored 52 but no batters could stay with him as Joe Pearson claimed three for 15.

Division Two West Bretton were skittled for 114, 87 runs shy of the 201 set by Ackworth.

Monk Bretton won by 51 runs in a Division Three West derby against league winners Rockingham.

James White took five for 33 before a stunning 92 from just 86 balls was racked up by Ashley Clayton.
