Masks back at hospital after cases rise
BARNSLEY Hospital bosses are asking visitors and patients to wear a face mask when attending the site due to an increase in the number of Covid-19 patients in their care.
Face masks were reintroduced as a requirement for all staff whilst in hospital last weekend.
As a result, bosses are now asking residents to do the same.
A spokesperson said: “Surgical masks should be worn covering the nose and mouth at all times, and, of course, it remains vital that everyone in the hospital maintain good hand hygiene.”
