‘Hygiene poverty’ to be tackled

HEALTHWATCH Barnsley staff will be in the Glass Works Square next week to speak to residents about hygiene poverty and how it can affect their physical and mental health.

Healthwatch will be giving away hygiene packs which contain a combination of items including shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

A number of service providers will also be on hand throughout the day.

The event will take place next Friday from 9am until 2pm.
