Award nod for caring couple

AN INSPIRING couple have been shortlisted for yet another prestigious award.

Michael and Paul AtwalBrice, from Thurnscoe, are finalists in this year’s My Family Our Needs BAPS Awards for Best Use of Media.

The pair have four children, two of which – Levi and Lucas – have autism and epilepsy.

The couple have been involved in promoting fostering and adoption, as well as encouraging the recruitment of more foster carers in the LGBTQ+ community.

Voting is now open and the ceremony will be held in Leicester in November.
