Photo exhibition Thurnscoe bedsits

SHAFTON and District Photographic Society will be hosting an exhibition over the coming weeks.

Held at Cudworth Library, Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm, from Monday to October 14, the exhibition comprises a selection of photographic prints from past and present members.

A spokesperson added: “Members of the club will be available for discussion, guidance, tutorials and general photography advice.”

PLANS to change a Thurnscoe property into a seven-bed house of multiple occupation have been submitted to the council.

If approved, the property on Houghton Road, will be turned into an HMO.

A total of six neighbours have been made aware of the application with no appeals to date. Public consultation ends on October 14.
