Investigation into station assault
AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a man assaulted a member of staff at Barnsley railway station.
It’s reported that at 1.20pm, on September 13, a member of staff attempted to remove a man causing a disturbance from a train.
As he walked towards the man, he pushed him in the chest.
A spokesperson for
British Transport Police said: “Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.
“If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 250 of 13/09/22.
“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
