Investigat­ion into station assault

AN INVESTIGAT­ION has been launched after a man assaulted a member of staff at Barnsley railway station.

It’s reported that at 1.20pm, on September 13, a member of staff attempted to remove a man causing a disturbanc­e from a train.

As he walked towards the man, he pushed him in the chest.

A spokespers­on for

British Transport Police said: “Officers believe the man in the image may have informatio­n which could help their investigat­ion.
