Probe into car fire in Grimethorpe

A CAR was deliberately set alight in Grimethorpe on Tuesday night.

Upon arrival on Chestnut Street, at 9.05pm, fire crews from Cudworth and Rossington stations extinguished the blaze.

They left the scene at 11.15pm. Meanwhile, also on Tuesday night, pallets were set alight deliberately in Thurnscoe.

A fire crew from Adwick station arrived on Deightonby Street, at 7.30pm, to extinguish the blaze.

They left the scene at 7.50pm.
