Breast cancer message from MP

BARNSLEY East MP Stephanie Peacock is encouraging women to get to know their own body during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

She’s asking those who notice anything out of the ordinary to get it checked.

She added: “If you are invited for a regular breast screening, please make sure you book an appointment as soon as possible.

“Whilst not all cases of breast cancer are preventable, studies show that at least 30 per cent of breast cancer cases are.

“One way to reduce your risk of breast cancer is through physical activity.”
