Event marks Black History Month

A CELEBRATION of black history will be held at Barnsley Hospital on Tuesday.

October is Black History Month, with this year’s theme being ‘Time For Change: Action Not Words’.

It recognises the contribution made to society over many years by the African and Caribbean communities.

A celebration will be held in Colliers Restaurant at Barnsley Hospital on Tuesday from 11am to 1pm.
