New use for old doctor’s surgery

PLANS to change the use of a Grimethorpe doctor’s surgery – and turn it into eight new properties – have been submitted to the council.

The former Caxton House Surgery, on High Street, is currently vacant – but plans to turn it into seven apartments and one studio flat have surfaced.

A total of 54 neighbours have been made aware of the application with no appeals to date.

Public consultation ends on October 24.
