Dearne get 4th straight win

DEARNE and District won 1-0 at SJR of Worksop – a fourth successive league victory.

Joe Austin scored early in the second half. Dearne are second in the league, with 16 points from seven games, but five behind leaders Retford United.

Manager Keelan Hall said: “It was a tough game.

“It was a game that we could have easily got frustrated with but we showed patience and character to scrape the win.”
