Barnsley boys come back for 5th straight win
BARNSLEY under 14s made it five wins in a row with a 3-1 success at Rotherham.
The Reds fell behind but Reuben Jeffries scored a brace with Kendon Hickey also netting.
It was a good week overall for the town’s schoolboy teams.
Barnsley under 15s came from behind to beat East Riding 3-1.
Jake Scargill, Rio O’Loughlin and Charlie Redfern scored.
Barnsley under 13s won 5-2 at Bradford and the under 11s beat York 6-2.
The under 12s lost at home, 4-1 to Hull. This weekend sees the schoolboys in cup action for the under 14 and under
15s against local rivals Sheffield at Netherwood School.
