Shop plans submitted

PLANS to replace the shop front of a former town centre jewellers have been submitted to the council.

The former Ernest Jones unit, on Cheapside, is now vacant – and planning permission to change the front of the site has now been put through.

A total of six neighbours have been made aware of the application with no appeals to date.

Public consultation ends on November 2.
