U18s host Blades after thrashing Hull Loanee Ackroyd bags brace for Guiseley Reds to find out first FA Cup opponents

BARNSLEY under 18s are due to host Sheffield United tomorrow.

The local derby takes place at 10.30am on the training pitches.

They scored five in a win at Hull City for the second week in a row, this time a 5-2 victory in the PDL Cup. Emmaisa Nzondo scored two with Chrysolite Ogbu, Leo Farrell and Vimal Yoganathan also netting.

JOE ACKROYD scored twice as Guiseley beat Whitby 3-1 in the FA Trophy.

The midfielder, on loan from the Reds for a month, made it 2-0 then set up the third. Aiden Marsh, on loan to Scunthorpe, has missed their most recent games through injury.

BARNSLEY are due to find out their opponents for the first round of the FA Cup in the coming days.

The final qualifying round for nonleague clubs takes place tomorrow.

The first round is due to take place over the weekend of November 5 and 6, with League One and League Two clubs entering at that stage.
