Councillor should be praised

Referring to Mr Horbury’s letter in last week’s edition regarding the closing of the access tunnel at Darton Station, I would like to commend Steve Hunt for the work he has done so far on behalf of the residents of Darton, particularly Darton East for which he is a councillor.

I would like to point out that the problems referred to by Mr Horbury about the dangerous traffic conditions at Darton Church and poor behaviour in both Darton parks are the responsibility of the councillors for Darton West.

Perhaps Mr Horbury should contact them!
