Reasons to volunteer

I would like to tell readers about the benefits of volunteering.

It’s so good for people’s wellbeing, plus it gets you out meeting people.

I volunteer at the RSPCA charity shop on Market Street in Barnsley – I call it my happy place.

You can give as much time as you can spare.

Every charity needs volunteers, without them they couldn’t work.

It’s a good feeling to know you are putting something back.
