Steph and Steve team up for awards’ evening

HOSTING this year’s Proud of Barnsley awards at the Metrodome on Friday, November 18, will be broadcasters Stephanie Hirst and Steve White.

The long-time friends joined forces last year to host the awards ceremony and are looking forward to a return this year.

Stephanie said: “It really is one of my favourite occasions of the year – it’s wonderful to be part of such a lovely event and to hear first-hand all the amazing stories of people who make Barnsley great.

“And I’m obviously looking forward to catching up with Steve again.”

Finalists will be invited along to the awards’ evening with family and friends where they will enjoy a drinks’ reception, dinner, entertainment and, of course, find out who this year’s Proud of Barnsley winners are.

They will be joined by representatives of our sponsors who, in conjunction with the Barnsley Chronicle, make the occasion possible.
