Cafe gets into the spirit of Halloween

-

A CAWTHORNE cafe has gone to town in preparation for Halloween.

The Pavilion Cafe, on Bark House Lane, missed out on decorating last year due to the pandemic keeping everyone indoors and the cafe having to stay closed.

This year, they are back and better than ever.

Owner, Kathleen Moore, likes to celebrate the changing of the seasons by decorating the cafe with bunting and sweet treats.

Last week, Geezer the scarecrow entertained customers providing a friendly face and some cheer – an idea inspired by staff members at the Pavilion, in the hope of creating togetherness and reducing loneliness following the lockdown.

The ghost, Boo, is now making an appearance outside the cafe and will be there for the following weeks.
